What is Zerona Laser Body Sculpting?
Zerona Z6 is a full body fat loss treatment that allows clients to target areas of stubborn fat, and is the first laser specifically designed for body contouring. Applied externally, the laser targets excess fat by emulsifying fatty tissue through the use of cold laser technology developed by Erchonia. How Does Zerona Laser Body Sculpting Work?
Through clinical studies it has been demonstrated that the Zerona low level laser is absorbed by the mitochondria and stimulates the fat cell to emulsify (liquefy) the fat within the cell. Then, the liquefied fat moves from inside the cell, through a temporary pore formed in the cell membrane, to outside the cell where it is in the interstitial space until absorbed by the lymphatic system. This is where immune cells called macrophages release liposomal acid lipase to breakdown the triglycerides into small enough glycerol and free fatty acids picked up by the blood stream and oxidized. Millions of fat cells becoming smaller so inches are reduced off the arms, waist, hips and thighs. The fat cells are not injured in any way by this process.

Patients will be informed of the results they should expect and assigned a treatment plan that will help them reach their goal.
This will depend on the patient and their body type, and how quickly their body is able to process the fat. With some patients, results using Zerona will be seen after a few treatments, others will see results towards the end of the treatment cycle as their body will take more time to process the fat.
